Dr. Carlos Gonzalez

I was born in Madrid (Spain), where I obtained my Dental degree (DDS) at Rey Juan Carlos University, after 5 years of strong commitment, finishing my studies in 2011. Then, in 2012, I enrolled a 3 years Master program to achieve the specialization in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, finishing my studies in 2015 at CEU San Pablo University. At the same time, I obtained my Master in Science (MS) at Rey Juan Carlos University (2014), in order to opt for a PhD program. In 2022, after several years of research, dedication and hard work; I obtained my PhD degree in Dentistry at Rey Juan Carlos University, achieving the International Mention. I was able to obtain the International Mention due to the fact that my main research was performed in the US (2018), more specifically in University of Southern California (Los Angeles, California), where I spent 4 months as a full-time researcher. In addition, I have published several scientific papers, being most of them published in high impact journals within the dental field. I also work as an Associate Professor, collaborating with several orthodontic Master programs in Spain. I have a broad experience in the use of clear aligners, particularly with the use of Invisalign, as I have been working with Invisalign clear aligners since 2013. I work as an orthodontist in Madrid and Luxembourg.
